*Disclaimer* This has NOT been written by AI. (Though I did try to haha. I only generated the image in AI).
I hope you’re not cowering under your bed from the dreaded AI boogeyman.
Yeah, I know what you’re thinking…
Oh NOT another one person talking about AI stuff…
Unless you’re literally living under a box, you’ve probably heard about AI and maybe you’re even sick of hearing about it. Maybe you’re scared of the changes that it’ll bring for you or your job. Or maybe you’re fearful for what it could develop into.
Listen, this isn’t an ad for AI, but rather a much needed change of perspective that the world needs in relation to what AI is doing for us and the season that we are living in.
Whenever there has been a shift of power, it came from the democratization of a technology that enabled more people to have access to things that only the elite would have.
One example of this was the invention of the Gutenburg printing press in the 15th century.
Before the printing press, books were handwritten and only accessible to the wealthy and educated elite. The invention of the printing press democratized knowledge by making books more widely available and affordable.
It allowed ordinary people to access and share information, leading to a surge in literacy and the spread of new ideas.
Especially the Bible. It was put in the hands of people like you and me and people started to think for themselves.
This eventually led to the Martin Luther leading the Protestant Reformation, where people’s mindsets were being renewed and changed as they had access to the Word of God, and later on eventually leading to the First Great Awakening.
If there were people were scared of the printing press back then, it would be those in power, for they feared losing their ability to influence and persuade the public.
But for people like us, it opened up a door so big that the world has never been the same since.
The same exact thing is going on today.
Over the past few years, there’s been a movement, a churning of things underneath the surface. The quiet shift of power and shift of influence from those that previously made the rules to the common people like you and me.
People are realizing all the “Fake News” and the agenda of those in power and we are learning how to think for ourselves once again.
Now a young kid in Africa with a cell phone and internet connection has access to more knowledge than any King did prior to the 20th century.
And now with the emergence of artificial intelligence, we now have democratized access to not just the world’s knowledge but also an unlimited ability to create.
Rather than shrink away in fear, this is a sign and a season for a new age of creators to rise up.
It isn’t a season to be scared for our safety or our information. But rather embrace what’s coming.
Rather to be scared that everything will be generated with AI, we must change our perspective to see the new opportunities that it can give us.
- Unlimited research potential
- New abilities to create faster than before
- A focus on what’s really important that AI can’t create (like human connection and connecting to our own hearts) rather than getting stuck in the mundane of “doing” for survival.
“We are to be as shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.”
The rise of AI and the new ability to create will help to usher in the biggest revival the world has ever seen.
- People will become released to their destinies and callings like never before.
- People will move from being stuck in the jobs and living for others to walking in something that is aligned with their hearts.
- Those that once couldn’t fathom doing something new will find new a new wave of hope and opportunity.
This wave of alignment will soon sweep the world and it will bring about a change so big and so great that only those that are prepared and at the top of the wave will be able to ride it.
So I urge you guys, don’t sleep on this. Not just artificial intelligence, but what’s to come through the new opportunities that will appear.
Keep your eyes open. Don’t cower in fear or judge. This is not a fad.
Prepare yourselves for the wave.
Look for new opportunities that may come up.
And when we’re ready, let’s all ride the wave together.
I promise you, it’ll be the ride of your life.
Jonathan
